Citizant Adds Division Director
Michael Reingruber to Leading EA Group

Federal IT Veteran and Noted Data Modeling Authority to Continue Record of Successful Customer Delivery and Expand Citizant’s EA Presence

CHANTILLY, Va., Sept. 9, 2008 — Citizant, one of the Washington region’s leading providers of government professional technical solutions, today announced that Michael Reingruber has joined the company’s growing Enterprise Architecture (EA) group as the Division Director.

In this position, Reingruber will lead the division’s strategic direction and service delivery. He will report to Group Vice President Tim Rinaman and will work with Rinaman and EA Solutions Director Adel Harris to expand the company’s presence in the Federal EA marketplace.

Reingruber will lead a team known for EA best practices that “connect the dots” between business mission and IT solutions. The team’s adaptive approach combines strategic planning, business process modeling, governance and compliance processes aligned with business performance measures. Boasting a solid record of exceptional service, the Citizant team has spearheaded some of the Federal community’s most successful EA initiatives. Under Reingruber’s direction, the team will continue its noteworthy successes at Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Interior (DOI), and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

“Citizant has an impressive track record of EA accomplishments and the company is well-positioned to be the premier provider of Federal EA services,” commented Rinaman. “Mike Reingruber’s program management expertise – coupled with his exceptional business development acumen – makes him the perfect addition to our team of professionals, who are focused on the company's mission of creating a better future for the citizen by delivering exceptional service. Mike brings to Citizant that rare combination of Federal market domain knowledge, deep methodology and tool expertise, and solution delivery success. I look forward to working closely with Mike and his division to continue to expand our presence in the EA arena.”

Reingruber has more than 20 years of experience in developing and growing technology teams and leading Federal and commercial IT-related projects. Most recently, he was group vice president with Plexus Scientific, a federally focused management and IT consulting organization. During his five-year tenure with the company, he grew the Business Solutions Group by 500 percent, representing nearly half of the company’s revenue. To achieve this incredible growth, Reingruber focused on quality accreditations, such as CMMI Level 3, and expanding the company’s client base beyond traditional Department of Defense accounts into the U.S. Departments of Education, Treasury, and Health and Human Services.

Previously, he was managing partner of Peyton Hadley, Inc. an outsourced sales organization he founded to specialize in revenue generation for domestic and international technology companies. He also held management positions at Vocus, FutureNext Consulting, SRA International, and Information Engineering Systems Corporation.  Reingruber began his career as a systems engineer at EDS.

“I am impressed by the stellar group of individuals Citizant has recruited to maintain its reputation for excellence and I am proud to be working with them to establish our leadership in the EA space,” commented Reingruber. “Whether optimizing the data center, using EA to evaluate and validate IT investment decisions, creating standard data for grants.gov implementation at HUD, or ensuring critical information systems produce the highest quality data – our fellow citizens are the true beneficiaries of the initiatives guided by Citizant. With our proven EA approach, we are the perfect partner for agencies looking to align business and IT functions, enable data sharing, and ensure effective governance.”

Reingruber is an expert within the database design and performance management disciplines. In addition to a series of white papers, his published work includes, “The Data Modeling Handbook: A Practical Approach to Building High Quality Data Models”, 1994. His next book, “The Performance Management Handbook,” focuses on developing high-quality business plans and is due for publication in 2009.
