Stop Asian Hate
/stäp/ /ˈāZHən/ /hāt/
verb
verb: a loud call to make it clear that hate towards anyone, specifically our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities, will not be tolerated.
noun
noun: A coalition addressing anti-Asian hate amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
No more can we tolerate the inhumane treatment of other human beings, regardless of race, age, gender, religion, and other recognizable categories that one (or a group) may identify as. Enough was enough with the tragic social injustices and racial inequalities in our country towards the Black communities. Enough is still enough with the brutal attack on our AAPI brothers and sisters.
#StopAsianHate is more than a hashtag – it’s a loud call to society demanding for an end to anti-Asian hate. Our AAPI friends, family members, and loved ones are the target of increased racism and vicious attacks in our country. Hate crimes against our AAPI communities have been on the rise since the start of the pandemic and we need to act now.
