Citizant’s Data Quality Expert Recognized for DATA Act Volunteer Efforts
CHANTILLY, VA, Oct. 26, 2015 — Citizant is pleased to announce that Catherine Ives, a long-time data quality solution expert in industry and government, has received the “Rookie of the Year” Award from ACT-IAC today at the annual Executive Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, Va.
Catherine was recognized for her support and leadership throughout 2015 to help ACT-IAC members understand the impact and implementation of the U.S. Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA Act).

Throughout her career, Catherine has improved mission effectiveness and strengthened internal controls by developing data-quality policies and standards; selecting and implementing automated data-quality solutions; and facilitating successful adoption. In 2014, Catherine published and presented her paper on open data and DATA Act implementation at XBRL International, MIT CDOIQ, the National Capital Region DAMA Day, and as part of an ACT-IAC executive panel.
Catherine joined Citizant in 2014. She holds a master’s degree in business management from Marymount University, together with her master’s certificates in organization development and knowledge management.
