During its next annual continuing assessment visit, Citizant will transition to the ISO 9001:2015 standard that was introduced in September.

Corporate Quality Manager, Pam Schoppert, continues to serve as a representative on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group on Quality Management (TAG 176) and participated in the review process of the recently released standard update. “Citizant’s Quality Management System was architected with a look ahead to ISO 9001:2015, to include more emphasis on risk management, customer focus, and leadership. We are leading the way in quality and process improvement, both internally and in support of our government customers’ improvement efforts.”

Citizant’s continuous focus on internal quality programs has led to high customer satisfaction ratings. As a result, customers including the IRS have engaged Citizant’s quality expertise on their own process maturity initiatives, such as internal CMMI Maturity Level 3 SCAMPI-B appraisals.

“At Citizant, quality drives customer confidence and employee engagement,” said Alba M. Alemán, CEO of Citizant. “While our ISO and multiple CMMI certifications are important to ensuring consistency and establishing credibility, we believe in empowering our employees to achieve success by driving results that meet or exceed our customer’s requirements.”

This ISO certification complements Citizant’s CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3 appraisal for software development practices and CMMI-SVC Maturity Level 2 appraisal for IT services delivery. Collectively, these quality standards emphasize Citizant’s corporate commitment to adopting accepted best practices for consistent, high-quality solution delivery.
