Desirable credential ensures timely, high-quality delivery in talent acquisition and IT support
CHANTILLY, VA, Feb. 21, 2019 — Citizant, a leading provider of enterprise data management, IT modernization, and program management services to the U.S. government, received certification from BSI Group under the ISO 20000 standard for service management quality across its Shared Services organization.
The new ISO certification, increasingly demanded by government customers, adds to Citizant’s ISO-based “Management System” to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of internal shared services to the company’s employees. Citizant first achieved the ISO 9001 certification for its Quality Management System covering talent acquisition in 2003. The company also expects final approval of its Information Security Management System under the ISO 27001 standard in the coming weeks.
“Citizant’s 15-year commitment to service quality and industry best practices is a hallmark of our reputation among our customers,” said Pamela Schoppert, Citizant’s Director of Quality Programs. “In 2018, we crystalized Citizant’s quality focus on both internal services and external delivery. This two-pronged quality strategy allows our employees and customers to benefit from ISO-based internal service quality, while our customers also benefit from our rigorous CMMI process maturity practices.”
“Citizant’s government customers have always expected a high standard of quality from the IT and business transformation services we deliver,” said Alba M. Alemán, CEO of Citizant. “This new ISO 20000 certification ensures we leverage internal service level agreements and performance data to drive continuous improvement.”
Citizant’s integrated Management System has three top-level components: A Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001:2015; a Service Management System (SMS) based on ISO 20000-1:2011; and an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001:2013. Citizant’s Delivery System incorporates CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC appraisals dating back to 2006, leading to Maturity Level 3 in both. The Citizant Delivery System has enabled the company to earn superlative scores on the government’s Customer Performance Assessment Ratings (CPARs) and internal customer satisfaction surveys.
