CEO Alba Alemán recognizes leadership contributions, prepares for continued growth

CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 10, 2013 — Citizant, a leader in business transformation services for the federal government, has promoted Greg Gorgone to chief financial officer and Jeffrey Beyer to chief operating officer.  Both positions report to Citizant’s president and CEO, Alba M. Alemán.

Gorgone has led Citizant’s finance and contracts groups through 11 consecutive years of profitable growth as senior vice president of finance and administration.  Greg spent 20 years at American Management Systems prior to its acquisition by CGI, most recently serving as deputy controller and vice president.  He led due diligence for several acquisitions and arranged AMS’s first multinational, multicurrency credit agreement.  As CFO, Greg will provide financial stewardship and strategic planning leadership.

Beyer will continue to oversee Citizant’s day-to-day operations, having served since 2011 as senior vice president of operations.  Jeffrey has more than 25 years of management experience in the government contracting industry, including two decades at Management Systems Designers, where he served as chief operating officer for the 750-person firm before its acquisition by Lockheed Martin.  After leading strategic planning for the Health Services and Solutions group at Lockheed Martin, Beyer was president of the Engle Group.
